Rockstar sets a fixed price per market rather than converting the US price directly, so what you pay depends on local taxes and purchasing power. European prices include VAT; Canada adds tax at checkout. As of July 2026, converted to US dollars, official Standard Edition prices span from roughly $58 in South Korea, the cheapest market, to about $107 in Israel, the most expensive: a gap of nearly 84% for the same game. Japan and India also sit well below the US price, while Hungary and Switzerland sit near the top of the chart.

Standard vs Ultimate: what the extra $20 buys

The gap between editions is the same everywhere: $20, €20, or £20. The Ultimate Edition adds exclusive single-player content: five vehicles, three weapons, five customization shops, two side missions, and extra apparel. None of it relates to a future online mode, because GTA 6 launches as a single-player experience. Will GTA 6 go on sale?

Do not plan around a discount. Rockstar’s track record is clear: GTA V held at or near full price for well over a year after its 2013 launch, and meaningful sales only came much later. Based on that history, our estimate is that GTA 6 will not see a real discount before late 2027 at the earliest. If the game is in your plans for launch week, the price on this page is the price you will pay.

Why are there no cheap GTA 6 keys?

Because GTA 6 launches on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S only, and consoles are closed stores. There is no Steam-style third-party key market where competition pushes prices down. Even the boxed edition is a download code in a box, sold at the same list price as digital. The only legitimate ways to pay less are discounted store gift cards or console credit, and the regional price gaps above, though buying from another region’s store can breach platform rules and creates payment and refund headaches we don’t recommend.
